The May 2019 BBi Tech Day and Open House was an absolute blast. The point of the event was not just to open the doors to BBi and showcase what we do but to include our tech and industry partners who help us make our projects, upgrades and even basic service work happen. We want to thank all that were involved, that donated to the raffle prizes and give aways! We also want to thank our loyal customers and friends to came out.
Metal 3D printed components were on display. We work with Pankl Racing to get these produced via Additive Manufacturing. Parts are made from Inconel and Aluminum!. Also featured out 5-axis CNC machined billet uprights for the 964/993 platforms!
MOTUL USA was present and shared their offerings with our customers. Motul also donanted a few Oil Change Certificates!
Full Race and Dyno Spectrum have a symbiotic relationship - Turbos are Power but there is no Power without ECU tuning. Mitch and Jon from Dyno Spectrum talked about their new developments for the Audi and McLaren programs.
Stand21 offers a great line up of race wear. Safety is always a priority and you can find all the gear needed with these guys.
Race Technologies showcased Brembo components. They also brought out some motorsport goodies like the NSX calipers, optimized for weight and strength! Incredible Tech!
Eddie from 3D Info Tech was showcasing the latest scanner from Creaform. We use laser scanners for reverse engineering and development of new components - this is invaluable technology for creating our highest performing parts with the highest quality possible. Here Eddie was scanning our 3D Printed Aluminum Intake manifold for the 991tt and 997.2tt DFI platforms. Along side are BBi GT3 /RS Race headers with 3D printed Inconel collectors.
The Race Sim was running all day thanks to Matt from SimCraft. The multi axis setup provides some incredible feedback and realism!
